Hidden Horsham - Christmas Shopping 2006

Christmas shopping in Horsham 2006 was launched on Thursday, the 30^th of November. In a marked contrast to recent years there was no official switching on of the street lighting and no fireworks

Also in sharp contrast, the high street shops stayed open for late night shopping. Unfortunately, despite the dry cold weather it was not a good turnout as the photographs illustrate. At least it allowed a clear view to record the decorations in Swan Walk. These shots were taken at about 8:30 in the evening

Hidden Horsham was not available for the second Thursday late night shopping but took the two photographs below on the morning of the third event. This is a record of some of the decorations on offer this year

Later that evening the town got busy, again the traders were lucky with the weather. The theme was Fair Trade in Horsham with additional market stalls supporting the cause in West Street and the Carfax
