Hidden Horsham Oriel window

This is above Sussex Blinds at 53 East Street. The way the two storey corner tower juts out is impressive and serves no function other than design and giving a square section to the room. The detail on the brickwork at the top is still in good condition despite its proximity to the busy road

The picture below shows the street in 1891, the year that the featured property was built. At that time the structure had a steeply pitched pyramid shaped roof. This was in place at the end of the second world war but Hidden Horsham would like to know the exact date of its ... more..
