In building this site it has been interesting to see how Horsham has developed over the years. The Francis Frith photographs provide the historic comparison to how Horsham looks today

The Black Horse Hotel has been demolished and new shops and offices replace it. Fat Face now occupies the corner shop. The whole area has been pedestrianised and Shelley's Fountain occupies the centre ground
