Hidden Horsham - Then and Now 5
In building this site it has been interesting to see how Horsham has developed over the years. The Francis Frith photographs provide the historic comparison to how Horsham looks today

Now it is not easily visible because of the hedges and trees. It has been listed and referenced on English Heritage's Images of England web site. Their web site describes it as four cottages but it is now one office at No 42, a private home in Nos 44 and 46 and a second private home in No 48

This property, also known as Bornes, was to survive until 1971 when it was demolished to make way for Swan Walk. Boots now stands on this site. Some wood panelling can be found at the Weald & Downland Museum and the date stone from the fireplace is in Horsham Museum
