A fantastic amount of design and work has gone into this only for it to be lost amongst the rooftops. It is in a state of disrepair and probably supplies water to the occupants below. Although the pidgeon deterents are in place they are barely visible and do not detract from the detailed workmanship.</P> <P>It was built in 1897 and was designed in the Queen Anne style by the architect Frederick Wheeler FRIBA who had offices in Horsham</P> <P>Click on the image for the full size photo. The two photos below date from 1930 and the building featured is to the left hand side.
